The center of the village Korenov in the Jizera Mountains region belongs to the octagonal chapel, which was built in 1909 by local German evangelicals. It was the Evangelicals who needed a place for meetings, because they clashed at devotions at the nearby Zvonice hut. The prayer house at an altitude of 710 meters on the ridge of present-day Carpenter has whitewashed walls, thanks to which it can be seen even from a great distance. At the chapel you will also find a mountain cemetery, built in 1911, where the authorities did not want to allow burials for a long time. The carpenter's chapel is often illuminated by spotlights at night.
